Franklin has a friend named Beaver, and a friend named Bear, and a friend named Fox, and a friend named Rabbit, and a friend named Skunk, and a friend named Snail. I almost forgot about snail.
It’s fun to watch.
Turtles don’t wear hats. Turtles can’t take their shells off.
I think that’s all.
Snail is a boy.
Parent’s Note:
You could do worse than Franklin. It’s mildly entertaining, and not as sickly sweet as some. The parents almost seem normal (except for being turtles).
My son’s favourite TV show is Clifford the Big Red Dog.
He likes it when the dogs talk to each other (when there are no people around to listen in).
He likes Emily Elizabeth, because she has yellow hair.
He says that the Howard family (and Clifford) live on Birdwell Island. It is called Birdwell Island because there are a lot of birds there, and it’s an island.
Parent’s Note: Compared to all the mindless crap pre-schoolers are exposed to, this show is great. They have found a good balance between stimulating and entertaining. Even I enjoy watching it with my son.
